Answer:When Antonio said that he was sad, Salarino said that his mind is moving up and down with the waves of the sea, as he has many richly laden ships which were like fat merchsnts and rich citizens, which were shown respect by small trading boats. He also said that the ships were like exhibits in sea.

Moreover, he also said to Antonio that if he had such ventures in sea, hewillhave certain worries. When he will blow over his soup, he will ne reminded of the powerful winds that could blow off his ships. When he will go to church and see the altar, he will be reminded of the rocks which can damage his ships. When he will see the sandy hour glass, he will be reminded of the sand banks and shallow water, which would make him imagine that his ships have toppled over sea banks.
