Well, the Gaddi Shepherd is actually a group of people who are nomadic . They are basicly from the Himachal Pradesh . They did the movement according to the seasonal variation. In the winter they go towards the base and stay in sivaliks in order to provide pasture to their animals which they rear. On the onset of summer in the month of april they go upward in the Himalayas . At that the snow of that area melts and mountains become lush greens .Hence here tha pasture for their animal become available.
