Sedimentation – Sedimentation is a process is used to separate a solid liquid mixture. In this process , the mixture is settled down without any disturbance to settle down the sediment.
Decantation – Decantation is a method which is done after sedimentation. After the sediment gets settled in the process of sedimentation, we transfer out the water by undisturbing the sediment into a clean container. This process is called decantation.
