1. there was equal representation of the Dutch speaking people and the French speaking people in the central govt.

After the four amendments in the constitution, the Belgium model worked out in a very different and innovative power sharing aggreement known as Belgium Model.

Main features of Belgium model ↴

❥ Equal distribution of seats -

According to new arrangement, Dutch and French speaking minister's have been given equal status in central government.

❥ Concept of Federalism -

Besides, state government for two reasons, have been given maximum powers and the state government are not treated as subordinate to the

Central government.

❥ Equal representation in Brussels -

In the new aggreement, Brussels the capital city of Belgium, equal representation given to both Dutch and French speaking people.

❥ Community Government -

The Belgium model introduced a new concept of third kind of government "The Community Government". This government is elected by the people of same community.
