i. There are certain programs initiated for the SC and STs.
ii. There is reservation of seats for the people who belong to SC, ST or OBC sections of the society.
iii. There is an act called “Caste Disabilities Act 1850” which prohibits exclusion of any person from getting a right because of his religion or caste.
iv. Dalits have right to receive education in any government school now.
v. Untouchability has been abolished in India with the act, Prevention of Atrocities Act of 1989.
