Surgical method (called sterilisation ) to prevent pregnancy (sperm reaching ovum) - it has no effect on menstrual cycle

vasectomy : vas deferens is tied up on scrotum, preventing sperm produced in testis to travel through vas deferens.

tubectomy : fallopian tube is cut , therby the sperm can't reach the egg.

surgical method can't be re done to retrieve back to normal mechanisms , it can be fatal.
