:- THE layer of the atmosphere above the troposphere is known as stratosphere. It is at the height of 50 km.

In this layer there is very little water vapour.

stratosphere is the second most layer of the earth atmosphere in this layer the most abundant gases like Oxygen ,ozone are present in abudant amount .

the depletion of ozone layer is also in this layer which results following reaction

2O3 +CFC -> 2O2 + 2[o]

the necant oxygen further react with another nacant oxygen to form O2

that is

[o] +[o] -> O2
