in a Crystalline Solid the Molecules are Arranged in a Regular, Repeating Array that, because of the Molecule’s Irregular “Coathanger” Shape, are Farther Apart than the Liquid Phase where the Molecules are NOT Arranged in any Pattern but are “Almost” Touching Depending on Temperature !! In the Gaseous Form the Molecules are Continuously Bouncing Off each Other and are Much Further Apart again Dependant on Temperature as the Higher the Temperature the Further Apart they are so the Lower the Density at the Same Pressure
