Reason of Volcanic eruption is the Escape out of Less Dense material "Magma+ Ashes+ Debris" when they have no space to accommodate further within the earth surface, hence causing eruption through Volcanoes...
As upper mantle comprises of Magma, but the Density of this magma is not uniform throughout bcoz of the process of "Conviction", due to this process,density of magma changes continuously, due to which Low dense magma rises to fill a magma chamber near the earth surface, when the pressure in this magma chamber becomes great enough,magma is forced upward through chimney and Blows Out.
