Describe the changes that take place (i) around the rib cage (ii) diaphragm
(i) chest cavity, during inspiration. State the effect of these changes.

Explanation:

the rib cage remain in normal size

but diphagram contract and become flat due to this in chest cavity lungs move inward and outward and volume in cavity increase and air rushes inside
