: Body triploblastics,coelomate,unsemented and radially symmetrical.i.e., pentamerous symmetry in adults.
:Digestive system is usually complete.Anus is absent in ophiuroids.

: Reproduction sexual , asexual or by regeneration.

Class1. Crinoidea.the oral surface is directed upward.
Class2.Holothuroidea.1.Worm-like body without arms and spines.
2.Mouth surrounded by tentacles.
Class3.Echinoidea.Spherical body lacking arms.
Class4.Asteroidea.Flattened,pentagonal body with flexible endoskeleton.
Class5.Ophiuroidea.Asteroids-like body is flat and a central disc.
