Social inequality- French society was divided into three estates. Third estate people live in a miserable life. They had to pay heavy taxes. on the other hand the clergy and hobility live in a happy life and exempt from paying taxes.

Economic problems- Last year war drained the financial resources. To meet various expenditure the state was forced to increase taxes.
