There were several reasons which contributed to the upsurge of French governance or as called the French revolution 1789.

Some of them are enlisted below:-

•Long serving monarchy system.

This caused growing discontent among the citizen as the ruler presented himself as an equivalent to god.

•Division into classes.

The French practiced a social segregation of people into 3 different classes, which were Clergy, Nobles, and rest of the population (commons). The importance was also as the order mentioned above, the first two groups oppressed the third class which made their lives miserable owing to which higher participation in the revolution from this group was observed.

•High taxes. This was one of the main reasons too.

•The royal accounts were in debts which made it hard to govern.
