The Indus Valley Civilization was advanced. There would be proper drainage systems. Mainly two cities have been properly excavated from Indus Valley, called Moenjado(Mohenjo-Daro) and Harappa. They were  usually mud house with one or two rooms, but one or two houses had five rooms, which archelologists believe are the houses of priests and priestkings.
