brobdingnag is a frictional land in Jonathan Swift's saclirical novel Gulliver's Travel occupied by gaint lemuel Gulliver visit the land after the ship on which he was travelling in blown off course and he is sperated from a party exploring the unknown land apparenting this name is typo, as in the book poologue gulliver call it Brobdingrag
