Answer:It has a cold desert climate. It is a region of barren, arid, frigid and wind-blown wastelands. Areas south of the Himalayas are largely protected from cold winter winds coming from the interior of Asia.

  • Himalayan mountain in the Northern region temperature becomes colder the higher the height gains.
  • Mountains manage to have much more humid climates than the flat land.
  • They get more rainfall than low areas because of the temperature on top of mountains decreases.
  • Snow remains on the top of peaks all the time because the temperature at the top of hills is lower.

hope it helps!!
