Voluntary organizations are organizations that perform certain functions out of will and do not require any state of organizational funding .Such organizations are charitable and provide free services wherever there is a disaster .Such organizations lie within the bracket of non governmental organizations and  can be based on faith organizations .An example of such an organization is the red cross, it is an organization that basically accords a helping hand at given time of need .Their core objective is to offer refuge to any person in the world who suffers a calamity .

The voluntary organisation is a formal,non-partisan body which comes into being as a result of personal initiative of an individual or a group of individuals to voluntarily undertake developmental work at the grass root and aims at bettering the lives of specific group in the society.
