IN THE POEM THE POET IS ON A JOURNEY. DURING HIS JOURNEY HE COMES TWO A POINT WHERE THE ROAD GETS DIVERGED.THEN THE POET GETS CONFUSED FOR WHICH ROAD HE SHOULD CHOOSE THE ONE LESS TRAVELLED OR MORE TRAVELLED.ONE ROAD WAS CLEAN AND HE WAS ABLE TO SEE THE PEOPLE'S FOOTPRINTS BUT THE OTHER ONE WAS FULL OF LEAVES AND HE WAS IN DOUBT WHETHER HE CAN EVEN FIND SOME TEA SHOP OVER THERE. AT LAST HE CHOSED THE ROAD WHICH IS LESS TRAVELLED BY AND HE SAYS THAT THIS DECISION MADE ALL THE DIFFERENCE IN HIS LIFE.
