Condition of flotation:-

An order will float if the buoyancy

Force exerted on it by the fluid balance

Its weight I.e if FB=mg

When the buoyant force equals one

tone ,it will sink no further. When any

boat displaces a weight of water equal

to its own weight, it floats.

Condition of floatation, An object will float if the buoyancy forces exerted on it by the fluid balances it's weight ,i.e. if FB =mg FB= mg. but the archimedes principle states that the buoyant forces is the wight of the fluid displaced . ... when any boat displaces a weight of water equal to its own wight , it floats .
