Condition of landless farmers in Palampur village:
The condition of the landless farmers in Palampur village was very miserable. It is because of unemployment as well as poverty. Firstly as they were devoid of lands, they were engaged for daily wage work in which the actual money to be paid is Rs.60-Rs.70 but they were given only Rs.30-40.
Secondly as they didn’t have sufficient money to fulfill their basic needs, they obtain debt from the money lenders and they fail to pay it due to which they have tortured to very bad extremes.
