The soldiers were in a very miserable conditions when they were forced to fight for the first world war :
Firstly , it was a beleif at that time that if anyone crossed the sea then they would loose their religion . And the britishers forced the soldiers to go by sea route .
Secondly , they were against the use of rifles or cartriages as they were suspected of being coated with beef or pigs meat .
All these incidents disturbed the soldiers during the first world war .
