Electric motors involve rotating coils of wire which are driven by the magnetic force exerted by a magnetic field on an electric current. ... The pair of forces creates a turning influence or torque to rotate the coil.

shahabazalimx: The correct answer is when we make our zip up and down we use some force like kinetic energy transfer into mechanical energy and if go With the speed of light then it becomes electric motor

The electric motor works on the principle of movement of a current carrying conductor in a magnetic field .

To construct an electric motor, it requires two strong magnets, An electric circuit , a current carrying conductor and some significant products such as split ring .

Between the North and South pole of the magnets , the current carrying conductor must be placed . Then the conductor should be connected with the circuit. When the electricity will flow through the conductor it will produce a magnetic field . Because of which the magnetic field of those magnets will effect on that conductor. As a result the conductor will move . If it is placed in a perfect position along with splitting rings and axes , the conductor will rotate .

Thus in this way an electric motor works
