tamil people wants to be some reservation in job and some other fields. But sri Lankan sinhala speaker hated the tamilans . That's why there was situation like civil war . To over come this problem Sri Lankan president want to help by Prime minister of India , at that time Rajiv Gandhi was a prime minister of India . He was agree to help . He send some solider to sri lanka to control the civil war . After that solider killed those people which are involved in this strike or civil war ,they did not care about which people is tamilans or sinhala speaker. There was a leader of tamil . he came india .when rajiv gandhi was giving his speech in Tamil nadu for solving the problem of tamilans . I forgot leader name he killed Rajiv Gandhi while he was giving speech. After that civil war was over . I hope u understand.
