Charles Hooper's grit is quite laudable. The brain injury took a heavy toll, rendering him paralytic. He remained on the critical list for a month. He was brought home, but not much improvement happened. Hooper exhibited unmatched patience, determination and visualization to get back to normal life. When he was offered with the slightest opportunity in the form of Duke's prodding and pulling, he grabbed it. He made his hundred percent effort in walking. On January 4 he managed to walk 200 meters from clinic to his branch office and expressed wish to start working. Then he set March 1 as a deadline to start working full day. So Hooper was a strong man who set goals and tried his best to achieve them. Only strong, determined and dedicated men have this quality.
