Hii dear here is your answer.

In asexual reproduction, new plants are obtained without production of seeds. There are several methods of asexual reproduction such as:-

i) Vegetative Propagation:- It is a type of asexual reproduction in which new individuals are produced from the vegetative parts of plants ie. roots, leaves, stems and buds. Since reproduction takes  place from the vegetative part of plant, it is called vegatation propagation. For e.g. stem-rose; root-potato; leaf-bryophyllum

ii) Budding:- The process of asexual reproduction in which new individual  develops from an outgrowth also known as bud due cell division at one particular site is known as budding. For e.g. yeast.

iii) Fragmentation:- When water and nutrients both are available algae grow and multiply rapidly by fragmentation. An algae (spirogyra) into two or more fragments. These fragements and new individuals grow into new individual.

iv) Spore Formation:- Fungi grows from spores which are present in the air. When spores are released they keep floating in the air. As they are very light they can cover long distances. Under favourable conditions, a spore germinate and develops into a new individual. Plants such as moss and fern also reproduce by means of spores.

Hope it helps.
