There were three estates before the French Revolution:
FIRST ESTATE-This estate includes clergy.They were exempted from paying any type of tax to state.They enjoyed many rights and privileges since birth.
SECOND ESTATE-This estate includes nobility.Like clergy they were exempted from paying taxes to government.
THIRD ESTATE-This estate includes common or poor people.This part of France need high attention but they were not attended.Also all the taxes were supposed to paid by this part.
