Before the French Revolution the French society was divided into three estates, They are:-
1) The First Estate or Clergy
2) The Second Estate or Nobility
3)The Third Estate
- The first estates included the king and royal families.
- The second estate included the Nobles of church.
- The third estates included the peasants,farmers , artisans and other comman people.

- This seriously affected the life of people of Bastar.
- This led to the uprising of a rebellion in Bastar.
- The British also responded back ,Brutally beating the rebels and killing them.
- Thus they overpowered this rebellion.
