Hey there !

World War I officially ended with the signing of the Treaty of Versailles on June 28, 1919. Negotiated among the Allied powers with little participation by Germany, its 15 parts and 440 articles reassigned German boundaries and assigned liability for reparations.

Hope it helps you !

The peace treaty at Versailles was harsh and humiliating peace . Germany lost its over seas colonies , a tenth percent of its population , 13 percent of its territories , 75 percent of iron and 26 percent of its coal to Denmark , Poland and Lithuania and France . The allied power demilitarised Germany to weaken its power . The war guilt clause held Germany responsible for much of the damages suffered by the allied countries
