Answer:

hey!

Excretion is the removal of waste from the body. Plants also produce waste products but very slowly and in very small amounts. They do not have any special organ for the removal of their waste product.

The waste products of a plant are carbon dioxide, water vapour and oxygen. While carbon dioxide and water vapour are waste products of respiration, oxygen is a waste product of photosynthesis. These waste products are removed through stomata in leaves and lenticels in stems and are released into the air.

hope it will be helpful ✌️

Excretion in plants:-

1. Transpiration:- Excess of water is removed from plant through transpiration.

2.Old Leaves :- Waste products are stored in leaves that soon fall off.

3.Bark:- Bark consists of dead cells which stores waste products and are peeled off occasionally.

4. Central Vacoule:- Most of the waste are stored in central vacoule of cells. They can't hamper the working of cell due to presence of Tonoplast.

5.Root:- Some substances are excreted through roots.

6. Old Xylem:- Both gums and Resins are waste products of the plant. They are deposited on old xylem which soon becomes non-functional.

Excretion products :-

  • Organic acids
  • Tannins
  • Latex
  • Resins
  • Gums.
  • Excess oxygen formed at the time of photosynthesis
  • Excess water
