The activity is as follows,
Place butter on the spoons. Cut three slices of butter. ... You'll notice that the butter on the metal spoon has melted significantly, the butter on the wooden spoon has melted a little bit, and the butter on the plastic spoon has barely melted at all. [4] This is heat conduction at work.
Hope it helps.

ACTIVITY TO SHOW CONDUCTION OF HEAT:
Materials required:
- Metal scale
- Pins
- Glue
- Candle
Experiment:
- Take the metal scale and attach pins on the surface of the scale using the glue at regular intervals from one end.
- Now, hang the scale in such a manner that the burning candle is present at one end of the scale. (See diagram)
Observation:
- The glue melts and the pins start falling one by one.
- The pins present closer to the candle and fall before the others.
Inference:
- As heat flows through the metallic scale from the candle in to the other it melts the glue as a result of which the pins fall.
- HEAT CONDUCTION IS PROVED !
Hope It Helps
