Agriculture in India also contributes significantly to gross domestic product (GDP).About 80% of farmers in India are marginal (less than 1 hectare) or small farmers (1–2 hectare) category.
The gap between small farmers, big farmers and medium farmers are huge. India’s inheritance laws are problematic in nature with emphasis on fragmentation Every day, there are reports of Indian farmer suicides from different parts of the country.
Now due to farmer act there are strike in Punjab and Haryana .but this Bill has converted into bill.

The farmers of India are very poor. They barely get enough to get fertilizers for their fields. You have a great example right in front of you. The farmers in India are protesting every day. Now, if you compare the indian farmer with an American farmer, you will realize that he is more like a business man than a farmer. Forget fertilizers, they can even see their fields through satellites. I know, CRAZY!
