Features of Tidal Forests :
- These forests are found in the deltaic regions.
- The trees grown here are able to survive in both fresh and saline waters.

tidal forests..:-these forests are also known as mangrove forests... these are shrubs that grow under the water I. e. roots are submerged in water.. these forests are very thick forests.. these found in marshy areas, in river deltas.. etc. they are chief distributed in deltas of large rivers on the eastern coast and in pockets on the Western coast. in saline of Sundarban in West Bengal and coastal areas of Andhra Pradesh and Odisha..
Tropical thorn forests:
these forests are found in the areas of high temperature of 27 to 30 degrees celsius.very low annual rainfall of 20-70with long periods of dryness. these forests are distributed in western Rajasthan parts of Maharashtra Madhya Pradesh and Tamilnadu. chief characteristics of such forest is passed distribution of small mostly thorny trees with shrubs being more common then trees.
