The features of election system in India are as follows :

1. UNIVERSAL ADULT FRANCHISE - So , universal adult franchise gives right to each and every citizen of India who is above the age of 18 in order to vote for their representatives.

2. SECRET BALLOT : So , secret ballot is one of the main features of election system which enables the citizens of India to vote but the other people never know whom the particular individual has voted.

3. ELECTION COMMISSION : The election commission conducts free and fair elections.
