The first meeting between Mini and Kabuliwala happened when she called him to the house. Mini's fear of kabuliwala of carrying several children like her in the bag subsided when the kabuliwala took out some dry fruits from his bag and offered Mini.Mini was excited to see what was there in kabuliwala's bag every day.Rahmat was charged with murder and was sentenced 8 years of jail so he couldn't meet Mini for a long time.
When after 8 years he meets Mini he gets surprised to know that he will never be able to meet her as she was getting married that day. That was the last day when he met him.On seeing Mini the kabuliwala recognised that his own daughter back in Afghanistan, would have grown and she would not be the same girl he had seen long back. The relationship between Kabuliwala and Mini is the representation of the relationship between Kabuliwala and her own daughter who was very far from him in Afghanistan.

The first meeting of Kabuliwala and Mini was very interesting. When they both met each other Mini was 5 years old. She was afraid of Kabuliwala to look his long beard and his tall turban. She shouted KABULIWALA but when he turned back mini hide beside his father but Kabuliwala tried to overcome her fear by offering her some nuts and soon they become good friends.

The last meeting of Kabuliwala and Mini was very heart touching and sad. They both met last time when Mini was going to get married in the season of autumn. The last evening Kabuliwala was released from the jail and next morning he went to see Mini. But when he went there he saw that mini was going to marry. He asked to Mini's father that can he meet Mini but her father said no some ceremonies are going inside. But when Kabuliwala take a hand print of his daughter and give it to Mini's father then he said OK and said mini to come. Mini get happy to see Kabuliwala the last time and she was looking very beautiful.
