These are a few features of the Ganga river system:
1) The Ganga river is formed by two rivers : the Bhagirati, which rises from the Gangotri Glacier, and the Alaknanda, rising from the Alakpuri glacier.
2) It forms a dendritic drainage pattern.
3) It joins the Brahmaputra river and makes the largest delta known as the Suburban Delta.
4) It is joined by a number of tributaries.
5) It is the largest river basin in India, and has formed large meanders, flood plains and ox-bow lakes.
Hope this helps :)
