Liver:

  • Secretion of bile which helps in fat digestion and absorption.
  • Production of plasma proteins like Globulin , Albumin, etc
  • Removes toxins in blood
  • Produces hormones such as Insulin-like growth factor 1 , Angiotensinogen , Betatrophin, Thrombopoetin  and Hepcidin
  • Store glucose in the form of Glycogen
  • Breaks down ammonia

Pancreas:

  • Insulin produced by pancreas lowers blood suglucose level
  • Glucogon increases blood glucose level  by promoting degradation og Glysogen
  • Produces pancreatic juice that digests carbohydrates, fats and proteins

Small intestine:

  • Most of the digestion takes place in small intestine
  • Absorption of nutrients occur here

Large intestine:

  • Removal of undigested food for formation osf feces.
  • Absorption of water

  1. the liver is helpful in the secreting the bile juice which is used for the emulsification to breakdown large molecules into small molecules. And it used in making the ph value chyme food when it becomes acidic the bile juice is make it basic to safe the other organs.
  2. the pancreas is helpful in the food digestion it secrete the pancreatic juice to digest the protein, to breakdown the starch by pancreatic amylase., and also digest the fat by the pancreatic lipase. (steapsin)
  3. the small intestine is used in to actual digestion bcoz most of the teacher are saying that the only digestion is act on stomach but the stomach only safe the food fromspoilingbut actual digestion is act on the small intestine and secrete intestinal juice from intestinal gland.
  4. large intestine is used to good absorb the food by the microvilli
