India is bordered by young fold montains on the north-eastern side, bay of bengal in the east, the arabian sea in the west and the indian ocean in the south.
The Himalayan range id the highest and the most rugged mountain range in the world.
There are two group of islands- lakshadweep and andaman and nicobar islands
The western coastal runs along the Arabian sea.
Plateaus like the peninsular plateaus.
