The story is about a giant who has a very beautiful garden.He is very selfish and does not like children playing in his garden and so he builds a wall around it in order to keep them out.Now when the spring season came..everywhere it was spring but in the giant's garden it remained winter.

He waited and waited but spring never came until one day he heard some lovely music and spring crept into his garden as the children whom he had banished from his garden had managed to get in once again through a hole in the wall.The giant understood that he had been selfish and that's why spring did not come into his garden.The children ran away on seeing him but a small boy who was crying did not run away.The giant was very sorry and he knocked down the wall he had built and children once again began to play there.Now everyday the children played..One day the giant saw the small boy had signs of small nails on his hands and feet.He was very angry and he asked the little boy who had done such a thing to him.The boy very sweetly replied that you let me play in your garden once and now you shall come with me to my garden,which is Paradise.

The next day the giant was found dead under a tree covered with white blossoms.
