   There is just a short hedge over the Marches’ house from Mr. Laurence’s large stone mansion. Jo spies Laurie sitting near one of the windows on the second floor.  

   Jo then decides to leave to the neighboring house of Mr. Laurence to speak to Laurie. She thinks that she has many sisters to give her a company, but Laurie is a person who doesn’t have any companion. She goes to Laurie and talks to him for lot of time.
