Please refer to the attachment for answer. Actually, that's a snap from a section of my book.
After losing in the WW1, Germany was made to sign the cruelty filled 'Treaty of Versailles'.
It was very cruel and humiliating agreement and Germany lost many of its territories to France and neighbouring countries. Germany had to pay huge sum as reparation. Alsace-Lorraine and the Ruhr valley, the most mineral rich areas were taken by Allies countries. Germany was demilitarised and was not allowed air or navy force. German marks (currency) fell very low and at one time 1 US$ became equal to about 100,000,000 marks.
Thus, the treaty of Versailles was a really cruel which led to the rise of Hitler and many historians famously said that "the treaty of Versailles sowed the seeds of World War 2"
