↬ Right to information ensures the citizens all the information about the             functions of the departments of the Government

↬ People have the right to know about the particulars of goods and services they purchase like the date of manufacture, expiry date, batch number, ingredients etc.

↬ Right to information acts as a watch-dog of democracy.

↬ It works to create a corruption free society and supplements their existing laws that have banned corruption.
