*Jallianwala bagh is situated at Amristar in Punjab.
*In the year 1919,dated 13 april a large number of people were gathered there .
*Some for protest and some for the great festival Baisakhi.
*They didn't know that Amristar wad under martial law that time by general Dyer.
*General Dyer entered there and blocked the exit and entrance.
*He gave an order of open fire.
*Hundreds of people died.
*He want to frighten all the protestors by this.

• They were unknown to the new law passed by General Dyer, banning all public gathered meetings.The Jallianwalla Bagh is a public garden of about 6.27 acres , walled on all sides, with only five narrow entrances.
• On Sunday,13 April 1919, Dyer convinced a major insurrection could take place, banned all meetings.Dyer and troops entered the Garden blocked the exit point and opened fire on public.
