Indus river is Originating in the Tibetan plateau in the vicinity of Lake Mansarovar. Its tributaries are:
The Zaskar is its left bank tributary in Ladakh . In the plains, its left bank tributary is the Panjnad which itself has five major tributaries, namely, the Chenab , Jhulem, the Ravi, the Beas, and the Sutlej. is a water-distribution Treaty between India and Pakistan, brokered by the World Bank to use the water available in the Indus System of Rivers located in India. According to this Treaty,India only use nearly 20% of the total water carried by the Indus System of Rivers while Pakistan can use the remaining.
