Hey!!!
Here's ur ans frnd
Saki's "Mrs. Packletide's Tiger" is overall a humorous story. The entire tale, right from the beginning, when Mrs. Packletide imagines gifting a tiger claw brooch to Loona Bimberto, subtly sets the tome in which the story has been written. The activities of the villagers on hearing that there is a prize of a thousand rupees for helping Mrs. Packletide bag a tiger are quite hilarious. The fact that the tiger was too old to be at all menacing and to have died of heart attack, suggest notions of both humor as well as sarcasm. Finally, the tale ends with Mrs. Packletide refusing to go back to hunting, because "The incidental expenses are so heavy" will definitely make the reader smile. Thus, the entire story has number of instances of humor.
