It consists of outer core and inner core. The outer core is made up of liquid state and inner core is made up of solid state. The core is mostly made up of iron and nickel. Earth's core is responsible for the generation of the magnetic field, which protects from the high energy particles of solar wind.

Earth's interior is generally divided into three major layers: the crust, the mantle, and the core.

Below are the layers of the Earth's Interior:

First Layer is the Crust. It is less dense.

Second Layer is the Mantle which is also known as the Low Velocity Zone.

Then comes the Core which is divided as Outer Core and Interior Core.
