The daughters of the grandfather are more attached to his property than to him. They didn't even bother to check whether he is really dead or not but took for granted that he is. so it's title itself reflects irony that the one who Departed is not dear to anyone

The relationship between them are purely governed by selfishness and greediness of the daughters.they r only concerned abt property of their father.they doesn't care for their father.
