Answer:

The journey of a river:

1) At first the river flow starts from the mountain regions or glaciers. (The rain water filled rivers are excluded here).

2) In the highly incline region of the river's generation area, the erosion works are most occured and the deposition work amount is almost zero.

3) Then the river flow enters in a plateau region where both the erosion and deposition works occur in a medium amount.

4) At last the river flow enters in the plain land where the erosion work doesn't occur anymore and the deposition works occur at the highest amount.

Then the river flow makes it way towards it's mouth.
