Lateral view of human brain consists of three main parts that are cerebellum, cerebrum and brain stem.

Cerebrum: Cerebrum is a part of forebrain which forms the major part of the brain. Cerebrum is separated longitudinally into two halves by a deep cleft. These two divided parts are called cerebral hemispheres.

Cerebellum:  There is a very convoluted surface in the cerebellum helps to provide the additional space for many more neurons.

Brain stem: Mid brain and hind brain form the brain stem. The cerebellum part of hind brain does not participate in the formation of brain stem.
