The rain rises from the earth, from the rivers and oceans in an untouchable form. It reaches the heavens where it changes form, while still remaining as water. Then it falls upon the earth, feeding everything with water. This is in line with the scientific process of rain. Water evaporates in the form of water vapour from all sources such as lakes, rivers and the ocean. The evaporated water vapour is still water, though in a different form, just as the poet imagines it. It forms into clouds and when it reaches a critical size, falls back to the earth as rain.
