Firozabad is famous for glass bangles. A large no. of people work in inhuman conditions. Even girls and children below fourteen years of age had to work in these factories. They are working in dingy cells which have no light and oxygen. welding of glasses damages their eyes and cause blindness. They have no union of their own. They all trapped in the vicious circle of middleman. If they try to be organised, they are hauled up by the police, beaten and dragged to jail.
